Sydwell Sibongile Mketsu holds the degree LLB and has certificates in Arbitration, Practice Management, Comparative Constitutional law and international Business Transactions, Legislative Drafting, and in monitoring.
Mr Mketsu’s areas of specialty include Arbitration, Litigation and dispute resolution, Property law, Labour law, Commercial law, administrative law, Public law Compliance, and Regulatory law.
With over 18 years of experience as an attorney, Mketsu worked for the likes of, the Human Rights Commission and the Office of the State Attorney in Pretoria. He further represented the largest state-owned and private enterprises in South Africa.
An admitted attorney of the High court of South Africa, armed with excellent litigation and starting skills. Educated to an LLB Honours from Witwatersrand University. She worked for Legal aid as a candidate attorney and her duties entailed, Criminal Litigation, conducting trials, and drafting representations and bail applications. Giving legal advice to clients for Divorce, Administration of Estates, and Eviction matters. Drafting pleadings, applications, notices, and heads of arguments.
Bongani started his legal profession with Mketsu & Associates, serving his articles as a candidate attorney to being an associate attorney post his admission. He obtained his LLB from North West University. Labour law, commercial, contract, property, and public law are some of his focus areas. His responsibilities include, inter alia, drafting and attending to the Magistrate Court matters, consulting with clients and witnesses, he appears on Magistrate Court matters.
With over ten years of experience, Yamani Selana is an Executive Consultant in corporate and commercial law at Mketsu and Associates Inc. He holds a degree LLB, a certificate in practice law, and Skills Development Specialists (SDS) 2017 South African Customs Compliance Part 1, currently enrolled for part 2. A specialist in International Trade, Customs Law, Tax Law, and commercial litigation. Yamani’s practice also extends to Sports Law, Contracts, Labour law, and alternative dispute resolution. Yamani is an attorney with experience gained across a wide variety of jurisdictions and industries in Southern Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa. Having consulted for 3 of the Big 4 Global Audit and Consulting firms in South Africa and the Middle East, and a tax litigation attorney for the Office of the State Attorney, and the South African Revenue Service.

Swabirah Thabit is a Conveyancer her work includes but is not limited to the opening of sectional title schemes, lost deed applications, endorsements on deeds, with consultant conveyancer experience. She holds an LLM (Master of Laws) (Mercantile Law) from the University of Pretoria 2018, an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from the University of Pretoria 216, and a BA LAW (Bachelor of Arts in Law) University of Pretoria.
